I came across something interesting today and wanted to share it with everyone. A glimpse into the lives of the rich and famous, the use of a car bubble.
Essentially, the car bubble is a type of “bubble wrap” to protect your expensive car even while its inside your garage. The material it’s made of is intended to prevent moisture condensation in your vehicle by controlling the air inside the bubble, as well as to prevent scratching and any accidental damages to your car. It seems however, that the only people willing to invest in these are car enthusiasts who have worked on their car over the past years and want to prevent damages or celebrities who want to protect their precious million dollar investments such as Aston Martins.
I can’t imagine anybody else using these considering they run from $300-$500 depending on the car size in addition to needing the interior fan to be running at all times in order to keep the moisture out; not exactly electrical bill friendly. Also, it seems like it would be a hassle to try to remove your car from this bubble!
I’ve attached a video from CarCapsule, which is a company that sells these bubbles. I have to say the hassle does not seem worth it.
